For the second year running, Q-dance is offering you an 'Extended Camping Experience' at Defqon.1 Festival. We will create an amazing camping vibe in one of the most beautiful festival locations in the world, set with new and exciting entertainment to extend your Defqon.1 experience.
The good news is this year you have the option to bring your own tent and camping gear, making the camping experience even more accessible, so you and all your friends can partake in the ultimate Defqon.1 party weekend.
Other improvements we have made is scraping the Silent Disco and instead we are using an OPEN-AIR STAGE with one mega sound system giving you the ultimate Defqon.1 pre party Friday before the festival. The line-up for the Defqon.1 pre party on the campground is the essential way to kick off the biggest hardstyle weekend on the Australian calendar!
The camping site is located on Defqon.1 Island. There are 2 options available for Defqon.1 Campers:
The Basic Camper
Arrive early to get the best waterside location in the Camping zone, BYO camping gear, tents, sleeping bags, toiletries etc. PLEASE NOTE - All Bring Your Own Camping Gear Campers must purchase an individual camping ticket per person to gain entry into camp zone. Therefore, if you bring a 2-person tent with 1 person sleeping in it – 1 ticket purchase only. If 2 people are sleeping in it – 2 tickets required. Please be mindful of others and bring a decent sized tent for the amount of people sharing it. We are allocating 3 x 3 meter tent size, for each tent on the site, as space on the island is limited.
The Tepee Package
Save yourself the hassle and time of setting up your own tent. Treat yourself and a friend to live like a King or Queen - Campstyle! Your 2, 4, or 6-person Tepee is fitted with single mattresses, a table, a light and chair for each visitor. PLEASE NOTE – You will need to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towel. Tepee tickets are sold per tepee - not per person. You will be issued only 1 ticket per tepee. This means all people staying in the tepee should arrive together to gain entry.

Apart from facilities such as showers and toilets, The Defqon.1 Essential Store is here to save the day. There'll be a selection of goodies to enhance your camping experience from hand sanitiser, toothbrush and toothpaste, to chocolate bars, chips and sunscreen. We will have a mobile phone charging station available for your convenience. For your enjoyment and safety, we've formed some camp rules for the campsite.
