Your Camping ticket cost includes travel on all CityRail services* on Friday the 14th, Sat. 15th and Sunday the 16th of September 2012. There will be a shuttle service to and from Defqon.1 Island leaving from the North side of Penrith Station for our camping crowd. So if you want to leave your car at home for the weekend, just bring what you need in a backpack and we'll take care of the rest.
The shuttle service will run on Friday afternoon (times TBC), and then again on Sunday morning to get you back to the station.The Shuttle Bus will drop you off right at the Defqon.1 Entrance, and is the easiest and most hassle free way to get to and from the venue.
*Station access fee applies for travel between Domestic and International Airport stations and the City. You will need to purchase a separate ticket.
If you must drive, you can park your car for the weekend right by the venue. However, because you'll be camping on Defqon.1 Island, you won't have access to your car for the weekend, so make sure you take everything you need. There are NO PASS OUTS once you enter. Parking on Friday September the 14th will be via Gate C Entrance at the Regatta Centre, accessed from Old Castlereagh Rd.
The parking fee for the whole weekend is only $20.
Once you've arrived by car or shuttle bus, you'll need to grab your gear and your mates and head to the Defqon.1 Main Entrance. Please note, Security will check all of your bags and gear for any prohibited items before you head to the campgrounds. Once you get to the campgrounds, you'll be given a quick tour of the island and a safety brief.
Then you're off to your accommodation for the weekend where you can get settled in, take in the fresh air, and relax.
