The pre party wraps up at 10pm, so you can have a good night's sleep for event day, and enjoy your escape from the city.
Learn 2 Shuffle
Whether you're a beginner, a veteran Shuffler or just looking to sharpen your skills, Dexi & The Newcastle Rockers will be onsite running Shuffling tutorials. At the end of the night, there will be a competition to decide the best female and male shufflers with Q-dance/Defqon.1 merchandise prizes.
Learn to DJ
For those looking to learn some of the skills or get a better understanding of what happens behind the decks, The very talented Nik Fish, one of Australia's top Hard Dance djs will be conducting DJ tutorials teaching you how to mix the heavy beats of Hardstyle and Hardcore. In 2010 Nik played on the Orange stage at Defqon.1 Holland and also on the mainstage (RED) at Defqon.1 Australia.
Fire and Poi Twirling Classes
The very talented and well known Cem will be running amazing Fire and Poi Twirling workshops. The lessons are for the curious beginner to the hardcores circus devotees. Cem lives and breathes the skills of Poi Twirling so it's perfect to be learning from an absolute master!

Rise and shine sleepy heads! It's Saturday morning, and time for the festival to kick off! Have something hearty for breakfast and get ready to enjoy the main event! Hot water showers are available onsite, for you to scrub up and get your party suit on! When the party finishes, you and your friends return to the campgrounds where you can chill out and have a drink, or get some rest re-living your festival day in your sleep. Sweet dreams!
Oooh no! It's Sunday morning and your Defqon.1 weekend is coming to a close. Food will be available early on, however if you need a sleep in – enjoy til 11am. Time to grab your belongings, and board the free shuttle service to Penrith Station or to the car park. Time to farewell your newfound friends and wish them well until next year's edition of Defqon.1!
